If FAITH is infinate
If faith is ∞, then what is the mathematical connotation of faith?
-∞ to ∞ +
Mathematics usually has limits of 0 to ∞ but faith is derived of a unprovable theory, therefore faith cannot have limits, as God does not have limits.
Love Forever.
Christopher Hitchens had a great thought experiment..
Tried a google search but to no avail, so this might be a false question. Apoligises to Mr Hitchens if its not part of his own works.
Christopher Hitchens had a great thought experiment made up of two questions.
Firstly, can you think of any evil deeds that a person could commit because of his religion? Not too hard really. Secondly, can you think of any evil deeds that an atheist could commit because of his atheism? Hitchens said he often offered up this thought challenge and never received an example for the second question.
One, this is a trick question and atheists know it all too well but they have deceived themselves to thinking you can't commit a evil deed, if you don't believe in EVIL. Religion believes in Good and Evil, therefore its easy to predict 'evils' that a religious person can participate in... BUT atheism, without such a belief or limits, does not believe in Evil. Therefore cannot participate in evil deeds, so to speak. This is why Anders Behring Breivik sanity has been continuously questioned and people are still trying to determine him as insane now, its easier to determine someone as insane than to determine their actions as evil. Atheists or non believers cannot understand if someone is sane, how could they commit vile acts? The evil, or the devil, can convince someone/ anyone to participate in evil acts. If Breivik was insane, how could he drive from one place to another, he was in control of his actions, sane but what he committed was a evil act, the very fact that someone can "switch" off their sanity on command, questions the very understanding of sanity itself. If we are not held responsible for acts, good or bad, then are we becoming machines sooner than we realise,
Its a trick question, because both atheists and religious people are human, and all humans are capable of the same acts, therefore the SAME evils.
Trying to move the goal posts is exactly what atheists do best, assuming religion is the culprit and not the human, believing atheism can invent morals and do away with sin. Immorality is far more advanced than non-believers realise, the foundations of not just modern science but modern society, is far more complex than any modern scientist can comprehend.
Lets re-align the goalposts atheists, as they should be for a equal game.
Okay, now with a manly question, f**k sexism ;)
Firstly, can you think of any insane deeds that a person could commit because of his religion? ( Does one have to believe in sanity and if one does not, then does this mean this question is irrelevant?).
Secondly, can you think of any insane deeds that an atheist could commit because of his atheism?
Answers on a postcard please...

Kids don't come with a manual
..nor to the point, do humans.
What's right? What's wrong? We all have it supposedly programmed into ourselves, so say the secular society, many argue that we don't require God to tell us what's right and what's not but is that a fair assumption?
If you look at statistics, per head of population or the percentage of crime has or has it not increased in the UK and also in other countries in the world? The world's financial problems are back almost to square one, why so? If we all knew what was wrong, why are so many wars being fought? Why do we have terrorism? And why is the European economy on the blink of collapse? In fact why is the American economy in such a poor state of affairs? If it was 'programmed' into our way of thinking the difference between right and wrong, why do so many choose the illegitimate way in life, why did the MP's with their high paid jobs, take the piss with tax payers money? Why so?
It is, just a mystery. But we may have it programmed, but if others choose to go against this logic, then do people have the balls to stand up and let others know, what they shouldn't be doing?
Bucking the trend, how do we really know?

Why is it ok..?
...if society can redeem sins but not Christ?
Its odd the secular and atheist society reject Jesus Christ as their and the peoples saviour based on their own lack of belief.
But many people believe you are redeemed by your punishment, but as so many people are punished differently, then no one is treated equally, as no one is then 'punished justly'.
Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 So watch yourselves.
“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”

For Jesus, and why not 4 Jesus
Imagine every positive you did, you gave Jesus the praise, and the joy and the reward, as it was him who gave his life so you could be saved. Yet every, criticism, every failure, you take the blame. This does not seem fair, but in honesty, its appropriate, as a good teacher always deserves rewards, as their pupils will have many benefits. But they should always remember the teacher, not the idol.
Leviticus 26:1
[ Reward for Obedience ] “‘Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God.
2 “‘Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
3 “‘If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands,"

Evil or Mad?
I believe its simpler calling someone evil, than trying to assume they have a mental illness. The fact of the matter is, there are probably thousands of different types of mental illnesses, and catagorising people with an illnesses, when the subject itself is not completely understood, is, on simple terms, unhelpful, unproductive and irresponsible. Its like saying there's a hole in my fishing net but I don't know where it is, but I know its there, because the fish are escaping, so there must be a problem. Without understanding the complete dynamics and structure of the fishing net, one cannot presume there's a hole, where the fish are escaping, it could be, the fish are jumping out of the net, and the fisherman is not understanding the finer dynamics of the fish, but instead the fisherman blames the net.
Its easier to blame the brain, and ignore the understanding of the structure of society and its effect on people and how they determine right from wrong, or good Vs evil. This is a further problem and unfortunately, certain uprisings from sexual deviants, have a loading effect to unbalancing the rest of society. Further investigation, finds there is no hole, nor are the fish jumping out of the net, therefore it remains a mystery.
But its easier to conclude that someone must be insane, if they commit atrocious acts, especially as they are determined to call themselves a good person, or that they follow a particular person, or a way of life, that is associated with kindness. Therefore how can someone commit atrocious acts such as killing, especially in my thoughts, that the ten commandments are implicit thou shall not kill, its not rocket science. Yet something stopped Brevik from understanding what he was preparing was was evil, yet he had his heart and mind set in stone he was doing the right thing. The balance of our own understanding of right and wrong is simple, however once up rises of improper behaviour dindle on the fragmented society, things like this, people like this, will continue to think they are right and continue to happen, unless we admit...
.Evil does exist.
It could be just considered for those who don't believe in God, that evil is wrong doing. Though as non-believers they cannot believe some aspects of the scriptures are correct, as it might be admitting other parts may also be correct, which may send worrying thoughts into the minds of those who clearly don't wish to believe, in evil, wrong doing or sin. We may constantly be drawing at square one.
If there was no religion, would there still be bad/evil in the world?
If you clearly believe so, then I think your missing the point why people **** each other. Perhaps its because they think its easier than dealing with the problem, that people have different views and ways of life to them, so the only way is to rid society of those people. Communication is vital but something even with all the satellites around our world, for some reason, we are poised not to communicate with one another and continue to venture in and out of chaos.
Religion is order, again, its easier to blame the order and not to try to realise, even in religion there is evil, yet where there is order, there is temptation. Though without order, temptation still exists. Therefore how can you rid temptation, or lust? And why would you, destroy something nature intended, if that's what you believe. Yet with the correct following of religion, reading, be guided, practicing, one person, can be good.
Can you ban evil from society?
Don't they provide laws for that?
Do they work?
So even within a secular society, not all wrong doing is eliminated from society. Its easier to blame a complex condition, than to simply understand the truth.
0 or 1.
True or false
Right or wrong
Good Vs Evil.

The rise of the unusual and improper
Certain behaviour must not be tolerated in society, though people give in or have no will power to fight against it or they lack the true understanding of why we shouldn't accept certain behaviour within our society. It may appear nondestructive and normal, or as its behind closed doors, its okay but unfortunately it gives rise to other implicit behaviour and for this reason alone, some things should stay un-allowable. Int*lerance? Must people really be *****s? I wish the world could be a happy place but if nothing can make you happy, then you need to find a passion, or a interest, no - one person can {make you happy}, it appears sometimes that's the case with people.
Do we think too much?
But as people grow in numbers, it is democracy that will give power to a far more destructive force, one which, we cannot acknowledge the consequences, until it will be too late (for many not all of humanity) but by then, how can one teach, the difference between right and wrong, and how many will suffer, as they have been allowed to live as their heart desires? Does lust exist?
Shouldn't some things stay behind closed doors for a reason?
Are children / people susceptible to change, even when the change will be negative and cause damage to them, but if in essence, for the temporary period they believe its positive change, then they will do it. That is human, is it not?
